UniDesk was established in 2010 as the result of the inspiring, pioneering and collaborative work involving the universities of Edinburgh, St Andrews and Abertay. It is a unique IT Service Management solution with custom processes created by Higher Education for use within the Higher and Further Education sector.
Hosted by the University of Edinburgh the UniDesk National Service has grown and today its current membership includes eight leading HE institutions comprising of founder member institutions the Universities of Edinburgh, St Andrews and Abertay and its member institutions the Universities of Sheffield Hallam, Ulster, Stirling, Edinburgh Napier and Durham.
This year we are returning to the University of Edinburgh to host our third annual conference. The venue this time around will be The Outreach Centre which is located in the heart of the city close to The Royal Mile.
The conference has presentations from our community members; a special guest speaker, Ruth Drysdale, from JISC and our technology partner TOPdesk will be showcasing their new Asset Management offering.
The event will kick off with a pre-conference evening on the 12th June. Let us entertain you with a hidden and haunted treasure hunt around the Edinburgh's historic old town followed by some pub grub.
Booking for this year's conference closed on 1st June. Please direct all enquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will be tweeting in the run up to the conference using hashtag #unidesk2018 so please follow us on @UniDesk_SM .
We look forward to welcoming you to all events on the 12th and 13th of June.
