What is UniDesk?

UniDesk is an ITIL based service management solution for Further and Higher Education. UniDesk is available as a web based shared service with SSO. The service includes:

  • A Service Desk using TOPdesk software
  • Self service incident logging and knowledge management
  • Integrated ITIL compliant Incident, Problem, Change and Release processes
  • Configuration Management and Service Level reporting

UniDesk Annual Conference 2018

Our next UniDesk community event will be our annual UniDesk conference to be held in Edinburgh on the 13th of June. We are busy organising the event with a guest speaker, updates from TOPdesk together with a very entertaining pre-conference event on the evening of the 12th of June.

The Partners

UniDesk has been developed in partnership by Abertay, Edinburgh and St Andrews Universities. St Andrews and Edinburgh have worked together on call management provision for over 10 years. The partnership shares the cost of the service and directs service strategy and development and offers the service to members. Costs are reasonable and transparently based on institutional size. Furthermore, UniDesk can help simplify procurement.
